Job Application: Adminstrator or Moderator (VSH Saxton #1 server) How often am I on the server? Everyday for hours on end Do you use the mic frequently? Yes all the time whether it being in conversation with other players or general reinforcement of server rules when I see others breaking them. Do you know administrator commands? Yes, I have a comprehensive knowledge all necessary administrator commands including: /kick example, /ban example 10 days etc. How long have you been on this server for? 2 years Why should you be given administrator rights? Because unlike the current administrators I am always on the server, I know the server rules, I know all the commands and know when and how to use them. Additional Information: I have applied once in the past (A few months ago now) for administrator and was declined as there were no available positions. None of the current administrators (Aside from very rarely budder and VERY rarely guardiansnow) ever come onto the server and it is becoming a server with a lot of rule breaking and general misconduct as there is no-one to prevent it. I am always on the server and get along with everyone who plays on it. If there are no available positions yet AGAIN atm then I suggest revoking or demoting some of or one of the current admins as they clearly cannot fulfil this role. On Mondays through to Fridays, I will play from roughly 2 in the afternoon, until about 8 or 9 at night. During the weekends I will play at least about 5-7 hours a day, at different points. Why should I Get Moderator? I see myself as one of the more active players on dodge-ball. It seems that the server only has 3-4 active admins, and a lot of the time, they arent on when I am. You are correct. The idea is you gain points for constructing a building, get extra points by getting kills/teles etc. to cancel the cancelling when those buildings are destroyed. So in VSH sentry guns will (generally) gain/lose you no points, dispensers will gain you some points (extinguishing Pyros who Flare themselves, somewhat abusable), and teleporters will gain you the most points at 1 per successful teleport (unless I'm mistaken). Note that when I say 'points' I am referring to GameME points, not in-game points. I think this is where the ranking system needs to be tweaked the most for VSH. You could get top damage every round as Demoman, defending your team's Engineers and their buildings with sticky traps etc. and only lose points by doing so, because GameME isn't designed for VSH (or other custom gamemodes for that matter), it's designed for regular gamemodes. Right now, the stats are heavily in Hale's favour. You get triple points for every kill you make, you get an extra point for killing a Medic, two extra points for killing a Spy, and an increasing amount of points as your killstreak gets higher. Not to mention destroying buildings and a guaranteed 10 points from MVP #1 whether you win or lose, as you're the only person on your team. The only time you can contest this amount of point gain is as a Medic, with 5 points per ubercharge and 1 point for every 600HP healed (not 100% sure about this). Now I'm not too familiar with customizing GameME, but as far as I know detecting how much damage you've done per round may require too much work. However, tweaking currently existing tracked actions shouldn't be terribly difficult. For instance, things like Non-Rocket Airshots, Mid-Air Airshots, Stuns and Eating lunchbox items to restore HP give no points right now. Although giving them a point value won't fix the problem completely, it would help a little bit at least for the classes they affect. In terms of helping out the Engineer directly, I can't think of any ideas unfortunately.

Yeah mate! There's a lot of confusion lately. Every since the RDRs got beeps Iv been getting bugs where the rockets beep but there's no rockets coming to me. So I'm sitting there waiting to explode. There have been many complaints about RDR beeps. But there have also been many requests for it. So I guess it'll just be up to the few active members on this forum to decide since players on the servers won't be bothered to vote. I think that RDRs would be good, only if the beeping was fixed. No more bugs where it doesn't beep when it should. And shouldn't beep when there's no rockets coming for you.

I rarely play anything other than dodgeball, and from this I've seen a lack of Admins on the dodgeball server. The only Admins I have ever seen on the dodgeball server would be Juanerino and Beesley. I'd like to be an active admin on this server to moderate the rules that are being broken. I really enjoy my time spent on the server, and the community that comes with it. Define being an Admin? It's a public figure, a representation of the owner, and all the other Admins or Moderators on the server, You handle problems on the server, and follow through with consequences for other's actions. Yes I have a microphone, and I use it majority of the time unless I have music going. ( Windows Media Player likes to pause my music whenever I use voice chat in-game. ) Do you know the commands? What is your policy with scammers? when a scammer comes online, and some one's in distress due to it, I'd kindly ask them to give it back, if they refuse to I'd find their profile link, get their steam ID which would lead me to their SteamRep, I'd kindly ask them to give it back twice more over time or try and resolve the problems, if not I'd IP Ban them, due to them being unpleasant and unwanted. After all of that I'd get the person who was scammed to report him as a scammer to SteamRep aswell as anyone else who witnessed it or was involved. I'd just like to say to all the admins who don't know me, you should give me a chance, as anyone who's not from the dodgeball server wouldn't know me, I rarely enjoy or play any other game modes.
